Here are some photos of my return visit to Jeff Coopers famous Gunsite facilty still being run in the same vein as originally set out - to train people to better look after themselves and to understand their responsibilities, and most importantly their limitations.
The original "Fun House" with changing lights and openoing and closing doors and noise etc.
The "Donga" jungle lane named as such because of Col Jeff Coopers times in SA
Neill with the instructor "Walt" that gave us a guided tour of the expanded facility
The original standard firing ranges for stsd pistol training and shotgun work
Us with mrs Janelle Cooper at age 96 just back 20 minutes from 4 days at a Jeff Cooper Foundation function which raises money to award scholarships to deserving students and law enforcement personnel that carry out their duties in the true manner of what one would expect from a solid Gunsite Academy trained graduate. this is run by Janelle herself with the help of daughter Lindy.
The front gates and Main entrance with the original and familiar "Raven" as the Gunsite mascot
