October 15th
today we were up around 5am, and we had packed yesterday afternoon and we had a quiet supper at the hotel which had a nice restaurant.
taxi to the airport and thru all the rigmarole at the airport with security etc.
again we were lucky and got the check in lady to give us emergency seats with an empty between us, and had a very good smooth flight in a new Boeing 737 with lots of legroom.
we landed at Washington Dulles airport at around 11.40, and are havind some lunch, and the will board at around 4.30pm USA East Coast Time about 7 hours behind S A Time.
they have completed the underground train to commute between terminals since we were last here, which is great instead of having to use the Bus/Truck arrangements as before.
so it now compares with the denver and some other airports, as mostly they have 2 or more terminals and you drop of luggage at one and check in, then commute to the boarding terminal where you wait to get on the aircraft.
we should be at OR Tambo tomorrow Sunday at around 5 pm or thereabouts.
we have had a great trip, and got through all the travel schedule without any problem or delay so far.
i know Angela our travel agent was concerned that our schedule was touch, but i guess we are a couple of tough old guys.
So thats it after 19 days and a lot of miles and flights also many things we saw and did.
thanks to those of you at home that allowed us to do this, and for the support we have had.
