Wed 5th October from Lookout mountain in the Rockies above Denver.

we did indeed try the Taco Bell for a slightly different supper on the night in Pocatello, and walked there in the light drizzle but ok, and we did manage to get to bed early as we had to get up at 4.30 to catch the 7.55 flight and still drop the car which we managed to do all in good time and we were seated together for once,
The first leg of the flight was only 30 minutes form Pocatello which is a small airport to Salt Lake City where we had a wait of about one and a half hours so had time to have some nice coffee a banana and a blueberry scone for breakfast, as we had nothing at the hotel, and find our boarding gate for the 1 hour flight to Denver.
When we arrived in Denver which has this very big fast expanding airport where you land a disembark in one terminal, and then catch an underground train to the baggage claim and transport etc. which we did and collected our car.
The garmin lady decided she wanted to takle us to lookout mountain through the centre of Denver whcih she did until we were tired of traffic and streets so after talking to Bob on the phone we decided to quite that and just headed to the mountain which we could see until we got onto the freeway and then got to Anne & Bob quite quickly and they had kinmdly waited for us to have a nice mexican soup cold ham and cheese with coffee.
the rest of the afternoon we just relaxed, unpacked and chatted till we had supper a nice Lasagne.
